HER STORY is an original mini series with a purpose. A candid, illuminating and visually breathtaking 30 to 45-minute narrative within an eight-episode series. Think, “No Reservations” meets “Street Food” and through a powerful female lens. HER STORY is a powerful, women-focused show – about women, through the eyes of women, made by women.

This is the moment for women to stand up together and shine a light on their world. Each episode, we will visit a new country and meet our new host. She will take the audience on a very personal journey, giving us insight into her country by introducing us to women who are raising their voices – often her friends, family, contemporaries and fellow change agents. These women don't need us to tell their stores – it is WE who benefit from hearing from a diversity of voices. By seeking a better understanding of each other through a distinctly female point of view, HER STORY will turn the traditional travel series on its ear through the power of the female spirit.

 
 

Episode 1: Jordan

Like the country, the women of Jordan are misunderstood by the world at large. HER STORY will bring you face to face with the women of Jordan: A Jordan-based war correspondent turned entrepreneur/PR maven; a refugee who inspires, mentors and tutors the women and girls of her camp; a ground-breaking millennial artist who challenges the status quo; a royal family member, counsellor and single mother who broke down barriers while serving in the Air Force, opening doors for future generations of women.

Jordan and Beyond

Lets travel the world, together, through film. There is a thirst for meaning, relevance and depth: people want to go beyond the surface, scripted reality and filters, and get to the heart of the story and what really matters. These untold stories – and the recognition that there is so much more that connects us than divides us – will open our eyes up to new possibilities. These stories will inspire us to shake off societal expectations and blaze our own true path.

The HER STORY mini-series will change the way viewers see the world and create more inclusive and open societies. By seeking a better understanding of each other through a distinctly female point of view, HER STORY will turn the traditional travel series on its ear through the power of the female spirit.
